Welcome to London, England, in the year 1925, where the rich, fashionable, and utterly scandalous cohort known as The Bright Young Things invented the modern Scavenger Hunt. London society watched with equal fascination and outrage as these frivilous young people drove, climbed, drank, crawled, danced, and disgraced themselves into tabloids, novels, plays, and the cultural zeitgeist.

But the true story of the first Scavenger Hunt was never fully told – on October 25, 1925, the Bright Young Things' triumphant new game ended with a murder most foul, which to this day has never been solved.

Now, 100 years later, were transforming Navy Yard into historical London to trace the story of the Bright Young Things through their hunt, using historical records, puzzles, riddles, and expert sleuthing to finally solve the deadly mystery of the very first Scavenger Hunt.

REGISTRATION

One person per team of 3-6 people must register through the Eventbrite link below, then fill out the questionnaire with your team name and number of participants.

This is a FREE EVENT, though each team will be required to make at least one purchase at each participating venue.

This event is open to all ages, but any guest under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The content matter may not be suitable for young children.

Disclaimer: The Bright Young Things were very real and did invent and popularize Scavenger Hunts in the mid- to late-nineteen-twenties, but all characters, story lines, and venues in this story are entirely fictional.
