What Is the Dacha Loft Comedy Show in Shaw?
Dacha Beer Garden Shaw is launching its very first stand-up comedy event, held inside the Dacha Loft, an intimate upstairs venue space at 1600 7th Street NW. The show features a lineup of local Washington DC comedy talent performing live stand-up for a seated crowd.
The event is free admission with a two-drink minimum spend on-site, making it an easy way to spend a Friday evening in the Shaw and U Street corridor. Seats are limited, so an RSVP is required to secure your spot.
Local Stand-Up Talent at the Dacha Beer Garden Shaw Loft
The comedy show at Dacha Shaw is built around homegrown Washington DC comedians bringing their sets to a beer garden audience. Intimate seated events like this work well in the Loft format, where the crowd is close to the stage and the atmosphere stays relaxed.
Because seating in the Loft is limited, the show stays small by design, giving each performer a focused, engaged room rather than a noisy open floor. Note that the Loft is accessible only via a flight of stairs.
