What Is the 250 Years of Cheer Series at Dacha Shaw?
Dacha Beer Garden Shaw is marking the 250th anniversary of the United States with a rotating craft beer program that takes guests on a geographic tour of American brewing. Each month, the tap list spotlights beers from three to five states, selected in chronological order of when each state entered the union, so the history of the country unfolds alongside the pours.
The program spans both celebrated independent craft breweries and some of America's most iconic commercial producers, making it a genuine cross-section of what American beer looks like today.
October's Featured Beers on the 250 Years of Cheer Tap List
For October, Dacha Shaw's exclusive selection brings together three American breweries whose states represent an early chapter of the country's history. Each pour is chosen to reflect the character and geography of its home state.
This month's lineup is drawn from the 50-state beer tour and features names confirmed directly from the program: the beers listed in the cards below are pouring now at 1600 7th Street NW in Shaw.
The October Pour List
Drekker Brewing – Percentage of Survival
Drekker Brewing is based in Fargo, North Dakota, and has built a national reputation for inventive, high-quality ales. Percentage of Survival is part of Dacha Shaw's October exclusive 250 Years of Cheer rotation.
Montucky Cold Snacks
Montucky Cold Snacks is a Montana-born lager that has become one of the more recognizable names in approachable American craft beer. It joins the October lineup as a nod to the American West.
Elysian Brewing – Space Dust IPA
Elysian Brewing out of Seattle, Washington brings Space Dust IPA to the series, a Pacific Northwest hop-forward India pale ale that regularly appears on best-of lists for the style. It rounds out October's three-beer selection at Dacha Shaw.
