The format combines a social happy hour with hands-on education, making it a practical outing for dog owners in the Shaw and U Street neighborhoods.
On Thursday, September 17th from 6 to 8 PM, the event features Force Free DC, a collective of certified dog trainers, who will set up Enrichment Stations throughout the garden to help dog parents understand enrichment for their dogs. There will also be an Ask the Trainer booth open for questions on dog training and behavior.
Who Are Force Free DC?
Force Free DC is a Washington DC collective of multi-certified dog trainers who work exclusively with fear-free, force-free, and pain-free methods grounded in current evidence-based research. Their approach is designed to reduce stress for both dogs and their owners while achieving real behavioral results.
